The Tim Holtz Distress Ink stamp pad collection from Ranger is a colorfast dye ink that allows you to create realistic vintage effects on paper, photos, wood, and canvas. Dye inks are known as transparent, water-based inks. Distress also reacts with water. The ink continues to react as soon as you add water, even hours or days later. Spray water for beautiful watercolor effects or blend different colors of Distress Ink together using a blending tool.

The intense color remains, even after heating or contact with water. This makes the stamp ink suitable for multiple applications, such as watercolor and embossing. Distress is ideal for mixed media projects where you combine various materials and techniques. Think, for example, of Distress Oxide, paint, and stains, all developed in the same colors so you can easily combine them. Ideal for all kinds of craft projects, such as cardmaking and scrapbooking. The felt ink pad is easily refilled with the included reinker. This is sold separately and available in all Distress colors.
